Starting from the ideia of the souk, we intended to create an implantation area where it is possible to autoconstruct, adapt and reconverse the space.

Assuming that the building will serve as a gate that allows people to cross through the block, within it we designed pathways with that purpose. By defining the pathways, it is then defined the spaces where the user can build volumes to accomodate any desired function.

 

 

Partindo da ideia de souk, pretende-se chegar a uma mancha de implantação, em que é possível a autoconstrução, a adaptação ou a reconversão.  

Partindo do pressuposto de que o edifício servirá como uma porta do quarteirão – um espaço de atravessamento –, são desenhados percursos. Da definição dos percursos resulta o espaço de implantação onde o utilizador pode construir volumes para albergar a função pretendida, sem comprometer o sistema de atravessamentos predefinidos.
